1987 Mongoose Decade
Mongoose Decade Custom
. Original wheels, stem, headset, bars, fork, chain, brakes and levers. I replaced the one piece crank with a set of sealed mongoose race cranks. Also a new aluminum chainwheel.I refinished the original chain (so greasy that it never rusted). I put on a set of ame mushroom grips, tioga compx front tire, and a redline freaky x rear tire. Also a Cali Lite reversible bar pad by Jahar. (local bike shop has a whole box still in the packaging). I am still trying to find a decent set of oldschool 9/16 pedals, These came off a Gary Fisher. When i got it the seat had been replaced with some huffy one, so i added a dyno seat and got a GT drainpipe seat post. Also a cyclepro clamp. Finally, i added 2 sets of cyclepro peg stands which i got still in the packaging, and a set of oldschool mongoose billet pegs. Enjoy
