1981 Madison MXDR

This is my first BMX which was purchased from Toyworld in Forest Hill (Melbourne Australia) back in 1981 for my Christmas present. Not high end that's for sure but when I seen it I just had to have it. I was 9 years old and I couldn't wait to get home and turf my Reliance Dragster out, and ride my new BMX. I felt like a king on this bike. Anyway I decided to restore it in 2006 and found a sticker set, padset and an oe seat! This bike was black with all gold parts but had it chromed a year after in 1982. I'm so glad to have kept it, it was destined for quite a few hard rubbish collections buy my dad but I stopped him each time. Glad I did. I blame this bike for now building many more. I'll be adding them as they are built. Long live BMX!
