1995 DK General-Lee (prototype)
I bought this bike as a daily rider. It's a great all-around bike. And it's history is just a bonus!
I bought this bike from a guy on eBay. This guy bought it from an old DK pro rider, Herb Hill in '97. This bike was even in a DK advertisement in '97 for the General-Lee frame. It shows him at some trails with the bike and it shows the "new" General-Lee frame and lists the whole DK team. So that's pretty sweet. There's no serial number, and there's 3/8 axles all around. It's original GL orange paint has seen better days, but is still reasonable. All original decals are in place. I only left 3 un-original decals because they were on there from when Herb had it, and I liked them. I added new grips (to replace the old ornage DK ones), added the trail seat from my Eastern, threw on a matching set of Kenda K-Rad tires and my black Haro Fusion pegs. It has an original chrome 3/8 Pitchfork, a Primo Casket stem and Primo Rod seatpost, DK 4 piece bars, a Pitbull II brake lever, an old school 990 brake caliper, an old DK directional 44t sprocket, S&M 101 pedals, Araya chrome 48h rims, DK sealed hubs, an a bomb-ass headset. My only future plans will come this spring. I'm getting a Profile Hop-Up kit so I can throw on my GT/Profile 175mm 3 piece cranks, sealed GT pedals (for 3 piece), and my silver newer 990AD arms. Otherwise, it's as-is. I absolutely love it. I had a '99 Eight Pack and I have always wanted a General, so, here it is!!!

Bought as a rider, but sold shortly there-after due to financial issues. It's in good hands now though.
