Bikes / D / Dirt Master

Dirtmaster is one of the oldest names in BMX.  It was one of the hottest teams in the 70's.  The creator and owner of Dirtmaster is Mike Devitt.  In the 70's they sold parts.  In the 90's the name came back through SE Racing, that Mike was part owner of at the time.  In the 90's they had frames, forks and complete bikes.  In 1999 SE was sold to Fuji.  Mike had to battle in court to keep his Dirtmaster name and won.  In 2001 Dirtmaster again reserfaced with bikes and parts, this time being manufactured by Alliant, who was owned by Mike Devitt and Gary Turner.  Mike and Gary split ways around 2005 and Alliant, Radix, Axxis and Dirtmaster were no longer being made.
